I am much more aware of what I am eating. I write it down in my notebook as a I go through the day, then I type it into this blog. It is really making me aware of what I am eating, and drinking. I am also picking up on how my moods, and health are being affected by what I eat. I drink way way way to much soda, that is a habit more than anything. I have also noticed that at times I do really well with portions then the next time I double or triple my portions. I find it very frustrating. I am also sleepy a lot of the time, I sleep at night, but somehow I am not getting rested. I am having trouble finding the motivation to walk on my treadmill. I look at it every time I walk through the house and think I really need to walk on it, but I keep going, and nothing happens. I did order the menu plans with grocery list. I am really excited. The grocery list gives you all the ingredients needed and the amounts need to make 7 servings, we are a family of 6. We are going to the store tonight to start on these menus. We have decided to only purchase those amounts and not double them this week. Both Roger and I need to loose weight, hopefully cutting our portions down by not making as much will be a starting place.
This weeks meals Sun - Sat, evening meals only are:
Country Fried Steak, with gravy, rice and broccoli
EZ Cajun chicken, with wild rice, tomato and watermelon salad
EZ pasta and sauce, salad and bread sticks
One pot Pork chop supper, hot bread
Cheesy tuna cakes, Basil potatoes, green beans
Soft Tilapia Tacos, tortilla chips, sliced watermelon
Layered Salad supper, corn on the cob, fresh hot garlic bread
These menus are based on what is on sale at my grocery store. We are going to try this and see if it helps !
