I went to the gym this morning. Our regular Friday instructor was back. I really liked her today. Before I was in her class once and I really didn't care for her. I think my attitudes have changed.
Anyway the workout was a level 2-3. We focused on abs and on legs. We did a little bit of arms but not as much. Great workout. I am really starting to like the more intense workouts.
My eating today has been great. I am eating at set times, and having snacks at set times. I have fought a bit of a headache today. But overall I feel great. Today has been a really good day.
I was so proud of myself this evening. Roger went and got Chipotle for dinner, just for the two of us. He looked up my points on what he knew I would like. Then he asked me how many points I had left. He brought me my dinner. Chipotle is one of my very favorite things. My meal would have been 19 points had I eaten the whole thing. I didn't want the whole thing. I actually ate less than half of it, but I counted the points as if I had eaten the full half amount. I feel great about my choices tonight.
I really need to work on drinking the water!
Grandma Clara used to set 4 - 16 ounce glasses up on the shelf above the sink. When she went into the kitchen she would stand in front of the sink and fill a glass with water and stand there and drink it down. The next time she went to the kitchen she would drink another one. When the last glass off of the shelf had been drank she would tell me "That's done, now if I want water - fine - and if I don't-also fine." It was interesting to watch her avoid the kitchen until she had made 4 trips through there that she couldn't avoid.
